IMPORTANT INFORMATION - BLOOD TESTS

We are offering blood tests at the practice (or at a nearby practice)  - please phone us to book your appointment. Certain tests still have to be done in the hospital (such as glucose tolerance tests, warfarin monitoring, and blood tests for young children) but otherwise there is no hospital based service after 1.7.19.

 

 

GP Net Earnings

GP Mean earnings statement – March 2019

All GP practices are required to declare the mean earnings (i.e. average pay) for GPs working to deliver NHS services to patients at each practice. This is based on the accounts year ending 31.3.2018.

The average pay for GPs working in St Alban’s Medical Centre in the last financial year was £82,115 before tax and National Insurance. This is for 3 full time GPs, 3 part time GPs and 1 locum GP who worked in the practice for more than six months.
