We are offering blood tests at the practice (or at a nearby practice)  - please phone us to book your appointment. Certain tests still have to be done in the hospital (such as glucose tolerance tests, warfarin monitoring, and blood tests for young children)

Travel Vaccinationsglobal air travel

The surgery offers a comprehensive travel service including a full range of vaccinations. The wide diversity of destinations and the increased popularity of adventure holidays increase the risk to your health, which in turn makes the service we provide increasingly complex.

Fill in a Travel Risk Assessment form and hand it in as soon as you have booked your holiday. The nurse will review the form and advise you which vaccinations are recommended.

We also advise on Malaria prophylaxis. Remember, you may need a course of vaccinations to get the best protection, so please allow plenty of time. We may not be able to accommodate last minute requests, and you may have to go to a private provider. Not all vaccinations are available on the NHS. We can advise you of the cost of theses vaccinations – payment is by cash or cheque at the time of vaccination.
